Self-Acceptance Meditation

This 10 minute meditation focuses on self-acceptance and letting go of the need to overachieve, overwork and overcommit to things in life and in business.

Using some core mantras, this meditation focuses on acceptance that:


You are enough as you are

You are doing enough

You can be grateful for what you have 

You have always been enough as you are 


The audio, combined with the very deep and relaxing music takes you on a journey of connection with your inner and true self. 

This meditation is particularly helpful for women who overwork, overachieve and are always doing or striving for the next thing to do.


By giving yourself permission to just BE with yourself for 10 minutes, and by regularly doing this, you can start to reconnect with yourself and build your inner wellbeing. 


It is recommended you incorporate this meditation into your week so that you can turn to it as often as you need. You can book mark this page on your phone or save the video to your own play list on YouTube.

If you are finding that you have a tendency to drift away into thought when meditating, that is ok. This is completely normal. You don't need to fight this. When you notice, just bring yourself back to your breathe with compassion and understanding.  With practice you will find it comes more easily.


You might also find, especially if you have ADHD, that long meditations are difficult for you to focus on. If so, aim for short 10 minute ones like these. Even half a meditation can help. There is much science to show the benefit of meditation for your overall wellbeing so every little bit you manage to do can make a big difference. 


If you have aphantasia, this meditation might be useful to you as you do not need to form any mental imagery during this. Instead you are focusing on words and mantras. 

Tips for success with my meditations

  • Build meditations into your daily routine. Just 10 minutes a day will make a world of difference.
  • To help you remember, time block 10 minutes at the start of the day. Then add a link to this page or to my YouTube channel to the calendar or alarm in your phone. That way, when the notification pops up in the morning, the link will be there and you can pick your meditation. If you are super organised, you can even decide all the meditations on Sunday night and set up the following week's daily meditation in your calendar. 
  • You do not need to be perfect at meditation (for all you perfectionists). You have to give yourself permission to be bad at something before you can become good at it. Be kind to yourself.
  •  It doesn't matter when you do meditation. But, the start or the end of the day are the most easiest to not miss if you are just starting out. You might want to incorporate it with the Inside Out Morning® Routine which you can find here
  • If you find you sometimes feel strong emotions when meditating, that is ok. Allow them to pass through you and release them. This is a good thing.  Acknowledge it and notice how different you feel as you release any stored or trapped emotions.
